Learn about the status of your local tree canopy, raise awareness, and of course… plant trees!

Raise awareness of the importance of taking care of our environment while actually doing it! One Tree Planted and HomeVolunteer is enabling you to reforest our local communities.

We ship the entire tree planting experience to your doorstep along with educational materials, cleaning supplies, germination kits, and more! The goal of the event is to begin your germination journey and successfully germinate and grow your trees from seedlings to saplings.

The end result of this experience is you growing a giant sequoia and HomeVolunteer planting nine trees in your name with One Tree Planted. That’s ten trees!

We’re here to help!

Is shipping free?

Yes! Shipping is 100% free with HomeVolunteer.

If I order now do I have to complete the experience right away?

No. You can complete the experience on your own time. With the Reforestation experience, it is important to finish the program within 30 days so the trees don’t die.

I live where it is cold all the time. Will my trees be ok?

Yes! We use Giant Sequoias because they are incredibly strong resilient trees that can grow in almost every area of the US.

I don't have land to plant the trees. What do I do after I transplant them to the grow bags?

No worries if you can’t plant your trees on your property or area of residence! You can transplant your trees to larger pots as they grow or you can donate them to your local parks departments. Almost every parks department in the US will accept Sequoias as donations as they are currently endangered.

Are the trees poisonous to animals?

They are not. As living proof, one of the co-founder’s dogs ate four of the trees and was just fine!

Why is there a cost?

The pricepoint includes everything (never additional fees) and covers the cost of all the needed items, packaging, shipping, and a donation to the nonprofit.

Do you provide any other trees outside of Giant Sequoias at this time?

We do not at this time.
